Mialise Carney

Mialise Carney is a writer whose short stories and essays appear in swamp pink, Fugue, Mid-American Review, Booth, Washington Square Review, and other places. She is an editorial assistant at The Cincinnati Review, an assistant editor at Nerve to Write and reads annually for The Best of the Net. An alumna of the 2025 TinHouse summer workshop and 2026 Juniper Writing Institute, she is currently studying for her PhD in creative writing & literature at the University of Cincinnati where she teaches writing.
