Mialise Carney

Mialise Carney is a writer whose short stories, personal essays, and interviews appear in swamp pink, Booth, Barren, Washington Square Review, and other places. She is an editorial assistant as The Cincinnati Review, an assistant editor at Nerve to Write, and reads annually for The Best of the Net. An alumna of the 2025 TinHouse summer workshop, she is currently studying for her PhD in creative writing & literature at the University of Cincinnati where she also teaches writing.
